Acacia Secondary School was founded by the Board of Directors of Partners in Development (PID), a team of committed and experienced professionals in human resource development, entrepreneurship, financial management, and administration.

Acacia is located in Vikuruti Village, Mlandizi Township, within Kibaha District of the Coast Region. The school sits approximately 71 km from Dar es Salaam and just 5 km from Mlandizi town, along the Mlandizi–Bagamoyo road. This location was carefully selected to provide an exceptional learning environment for students.
The campus covers 55 acres and is master-planned to accommodate a full educational pathway — including kindergarten, primary, secondary, and a future vocational training centre. The grounds are designed to include classrooms, dormitories, laboratories, staff housing, libraries, and spacious playgrounds for sports and recreation.
Our environment is peaceful, clean, and free from industrial noise and pollution, making it ideal for focused learning. The natural landscape — acacia trees, green bushes, and open grass areas — has been preserved, with additional fruit and ornamental trees planted to enhance the beauty and tranquility of the campus.
Despite its serene setting, the school remains easily accessible. Public transport (daladalas) operates every 30 minutes between Mlandizi and Bagamoyo, and bodabodas and taxis are readily available, ensuring convenient access for students, staff, and visitors.
